Wiser's LogMeIn client software allows our staff to work on your computer without you having to wait for a technician to arrive or mess around unplugging cluttered cables.  You install the client, then tell us what times work best for your schedule.  The average time it takes for a cleanup or virus removal is approximately 2 hours.  Your screen may go black while we are connected.  Read these instructions CAREFULLY and install the software exactly as directed.

YOU MUST REGISTER AND SUBMIT A SUPPORT TICKET AFTER SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION!

This version is for PC only.  We do have a Mac version available.  Contact us at support@wiserworks.com if you require the Mac version or if you have any questions regarding the installation of the client..

Installation Instructions (READ CAREFULLY):

First, follow the link provided at checkout and click the 'Save' button (DO NOT CLICK 'RUN'):

Next, select your Desktop as the location to save the file:

Click the 'Save' button.

Now wait for the download to complete.  After download has finished, click the 'Close' button on the right side of the dialog box (AGAIN, DO NOT CLICK 'RUN'):

Close or minimize all open windows and find the WiserLogMeIn.msi icon now located on your desktop:

Double click the icon.  If prompted, click 'Run':

We now begin Wiser's LogMeIn install process.  After double clicking the icon, you will see a screen matching the image below.  Click 'Next':

The following screen will appear.  Click 'I Agree':

The Software options screen will appear.  'Typical' should be selected.  If not, please select it and click 'Next':

Step 8

At the Computer Description screen, a box will come up and ask for a computer description.  The textbox will automatically have your computer's name.  This needs to be changed using the following format

[Lastname].[Firstname].[Location]

In the example below, John Smith is installing the software on downstairs computer.  He changes the field to read 'Smith.John.Downstairs'.  Change the field to your Lastname.Firstname.Location and click 'Next':

***ATTENTION!*** 

The email address on the screen below NEEDS to remain 'ericb@ebidesign.net'
the password CANNOT CHANGE EITHER!

 

DO NOT CHANGE THE REST OF THE SETTINGS OR
YOUR INSTALL WILL NOT WORK!

 

If you are prompted for an Access Code
DO NOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT CODE, JUST CLICK NEXT!

 

All other settings should remain default. I will post the images of the proper values here so there is no confusion.

Congratulations, you're Wiser LogMeIn client installation is now complete.  To set up a time for us to repair your computer, you must register with our site and submit a support ticket with our  easy-to-use Support Ticket system.  If you have any trouble using that system, you can contact us at support@wiserworks.com or call us direct at (701) 360-2193.  Remember to include the description you gave your computer, the best times that no one will be using the computer and a brief summary of what you suspect is wrong with the computer and what sort of troubles it is having.  Thank you and welcome to Wiser!
